A partial denture is a removable appliance for replacing one or more teeth. Partial dentures are made from combination of metal and acrylic which gives them the strength to handle your needs for chewing, speaking, while looking natural.  

Factors such as stability, position,  health of the remaining teeth, and the number of teeth may determine the type of partial denture.

Cast partial denture is the most common type of removable partial denture. It is more rigid and permanent style of denture. 

Acrylic partial denture is generally considered less optimal than the cast partial denture. It is meant to be a temporary or transitional solution.
